Conway Stewart is proud to launch the Duro Resin Series II for 2007. Available in four colors in a choice of fountain pen, roller ball, matching ball pen, and pencil modes, this series is a thrilling addition to our popular Duro Resin range.
First launched in 1924, the Duro is a timeless classic British pen from Conway Stewart. The perfect size for the pocket, it is treasured by both men and women who use this pen in their daily professional lives. Its timeless lines are pure 1920s, but they are as contemporary and valid today as when the pen was first designed.
The Duro Resin Series II is available in the following new colors - Emerald Green, Blue Stardust, Nebular, and Classic Claret. Each Duro model comes with an accompanying 100-year warranty certificate personally signed by the Conway Stewart technician who performs the quality check. Each pen has an individual serial number on the barrel, which is documented within Conway Stewart.
We use only the finest precious metals for the trim on our pens. We never use plated metal. Every pen is offered in either hallmarked solid sterling silver or 18-carat solid gold trim. Our nibs are crafted from 18-carat solid gold and are offered in a choice of eight nib grades to satisfy even the most discerning writer.
No other pen company offers this level of luxury on their regular edition pens. This is just another example of our commitment to true British craftsmanship.
The Blue Stardust Duro boasts a deep indigo backdrop with subtle shimmering highlights set off by the brilliant sparkle of silver dust on both cap and barrel. This material is at once enticing and mysterious, making it a wonderful low-key alternative to brighter colors. It manages to have a conservative look while offering a dash of elegant style.
Glowing, electric, and full of vibrancy, our Emerald Green is a combination of shimmering greens ranging from medium green, serving as a foundation for the pearl highlights that flare to life at the slightest movement of the pen under light.
Classic Claret lives up to its namesake, with deep shades of burgundy that evoke the finest results of the vintner's art. This shimmering dark red background is then marbled with gleaming black throughout. The Classic Claret Duro, like a good vintage wine, is low-key, relying on grace and simple sophistication to make a statement.
Our Nebula is a mixture of blue, purple, and red, interspersed with accents of white. Each individual piece of Nebula rod stock used in making our Conway Stewart pens is as individual as your fingerprint, offering the opportunity to experience this exciting new mix of color in a unique manner. It's not for the faint of heart, but those wishing to make a bold statement will find Nebula a perfect match.
